Zetawire is a mobile payment company enabling consumers to make payments on their smartphones using NFC technology.

Zetawire is an early stage company that was acquired by Google in August 2010. It is a company that had been awarded a patent for mobile banking, advertising, identity management, credit card and mobile coupon transaction processing. This would allow the phone to make purchases without using a credit card.
