Zuka

Zuka is a two-in-one liquid organic product that acts as a compost as well as an insect-repellent.

Zuka is a project that uses methods of vermi-composting and biotechnology to convert garden, fruit and vegetable waste into a two-in-one liquid organic compost and pest repellent formula known as Zuka liquid compost. The project also harvests Red Wriggler worms and processes the excrement into a package that is sold as organic fertilizer. Zuka addresses Socio-economic challenges such as unemployment, food insecurity and provides affordable alternative waste management solutions that reduce air, ground and water pollution.
