Alta is a VR game company, focusing on open-world, online multiplayer experiences.

Alta creates online universes in VR, where players can co-operate or compete to achieve goals across different settings. (Fantasy, medieval.) These are designed specifically for VR, using physical interactions and exploring a vast landscape. The first universe is A Township Tale, a multiplayer experience for high-end VR devices, like the HTC Vive and Oculus Rift. Players discover a magical, medieval town in the mountains, and can fill the town's many roles to survive. Become the blacksmith, miner, fisherman and lumberjack to collect and turn resources into tools and weapons.
