ambiotex is focused on the development of wearable technology solutions. It offers a shirt with embedded sensors that are able to record information such as ECG, breathing rhythm, movements, calories burned, stress level, and more. ambiotex offers an application that is able to measure and analyze breathing patterns of its users; and TechUnit, a device that enables its users to collect biometric data by attaching it to their t-shirts. ambiotex was founded by Thomas Claussen and Stephanie Renda in November 2013. It is based in Mainz, Germany.
