Appening is a smartphone application that enables users to find listed events based on their interest, proximity, and more.

Simple, easy to us and free, appening allows people to find listed events based on interest, proximity, artist and more. Users can find events of interest around them whilst also being exposed to something completely different to what they'd usually look for. The current version of appening 1.0 saw emphasis being placed on end-user experience with the aim of making the application easy to use and intuitive. appening was launched in SOuth Africa a small scale in October 2012 on multiple device platforms.
