The Spanish Association of Venture Capital (ASCRI) was born in 1986.
Asociación Española de Entidades de Capital-Riesgo (ASCRI) (Spanish Venture Capital Association) was founded in 1986 as a non-profit association. Its purpose is to represent, manage and defend the professional interests of its members, as well as promote and encourage the creation of entities whose objective is the taking of temporary stakes in the capital of non-financial enterprises that are not quoted on a stock market. OBJECTIVES * Collaborate with the Administration in order to establish and develop an appropriate legal, tax and financial frame for venture capital investors and investment targets. * Facilitate the possibility of joint investments of the Association's members for venture capital transactions. * Develop and maintain the high ethical and professional standards in the management of all partners pursuant to the approved Code of Conduct. * Organize conferences, seminars, workshops or any type of meeting related to venture capital. * Elaborate and publish reports, bulletins, books and surveys, edited or financed by the Association itself or any other entity which collaborates with ASCRI.
