Atomair are professional UAV operators and have been using these versatile camera platforms commercially since 2003, they were one of the first compaines in the UK to offer this service. Their founder has 31 years experience of flying UAV's (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles) and is also a full size helicopter and fixed wing pilot. Atomair hold a CAA (Civil Aviation Authority) permit to operate UAV's commercially. Their pilots are qualified and experienced in operating the aircraft in demanding and sometimes extreme environments. They hold commercial insurance and operate to approved company safety policy. Their helicopters and multi rotor platforms are under 1.2m and electric powered, this means no smoke, no smell and very low noise levels. Their UAV's can operated from delicate surfaces and are perfect for noise sensitive locations. Set up time is under 5 minutes and from takeoff the camera can be taking pictures or movie at 400 feet in under 10 seconds. Unlike full-size aircraft they don't have a minimum operating height or the physical limitations of a jib or crane. With the ability to place the camera virtually anywhere they can capture shots that have previously been impossible. Their system is efficient and cost effective. They will shoot to direction or from a brief, they are not just UAV operators, they're photographers and videographers too, so communicating with us on a creative level is effortless.
