When I decided to strike out on my own and create Azur, a common refrain was “Is there really space for yet another IT services firm?”. And my answer was always an unequivocal and resounding “Yes!”. Years of experience, both as a buyer and a purveyor of IT services, had convinced me that customers were tired and frustrated of dealing with service providers offering nothing more than commoditized services. Gone was the personal touch, missing was the boldness and innovation customers demanded, and lacking was the white glove service. Instead, our industry was reduced to clichés and slideware.
