BandAndMe is a mobile app that lets fans share in the music journeys of their favorite bands. Fans can keep up with all the band’s news across the web with a single newsfeed… including posts on social media, YouTube videos, songs on SoundCloud, and new tour dates. Bands use the platform’s direct message feature to deliver special promotions to individual fans, pre-release of a new song, a back stage pass, an invite to a live video chat, and so on. BandAndMe was launched in October 2012 and is based in San Francisco, California.
