Barsa Distribution Systems, Inc. was recognized as a leading IBM solution provider in the Northeast, with over 10 million dollars in total revenues in 2008 and a client base of more than 200 throughout the tri-state area, New England, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Washington, DC. Like MCS, Barsa Distribution Systems, has been focused primarily on the IBM product line, including servers (System i, System x and BladeCenter), storage, software (Information Management, Lotus, Rational, Tivoli and WebSphere) and services. The late Al Barsa, Jr. was President of Barsa Distribution Systems and was well respected in the IT community and was referred to as “Mister AS/400”.
