Founded January 2010, Cicada Security Technology Inc. (CST) is a Québec corporation Based in Westmount, Quebec, Canada, which develops and markets innovative data privacy and security security technologies. CST's innovations resolve common security vulnerabilities which are common to every organization with a mobile workforce, which manages cloud services, or secure remote access services. To date, the company has developed four products in three distinct product categories, including: Cicada Physical Data Protection (PDP) – Active detection and responsive protection of active laptops, tablets and mobile devices against data exposure due to theft or tamper Cicada Remote Data Purge (RDP) – A centrally managed, globally deployed, highly efficient data purge process which effectively eliminates data from all regions of the storage device. Cicada USB Isolator – A portable USB based protection device, which prevents the compromise of mobile devices, or the hosts that they are connected to.
