The CFE Fund improves the stability of households by embedding financial empowerment strategies into local government. It is engaged in 4 key service areas: program replication, innovation and development, professional services, and coalition support. Its mission is to leverage municipal engagement to improve the financial stability of low and moderate income households by embedding financial empowerment strategies into local government infrastructure. The Fund works with mayoral administrations and those interested in supporting them to actually implement innovative programs and policies. The CFE Fund was established in 2012.
