Civic network improving decision making & participation in communities

Civocracy is a consultation network built to increase participation and improve decision-making in communities. Through its online platform citizens can finally have a say in all the decisions that affect their everyday life- giving ideas, providing feedback, voting, and reporting those problems you wish were solved- from economic policy to road design. Civocracy has been working for two years with communities in the Netherlands, Germany, and France. We’ve seen citizens’ ideas become legislation, citizens deciding local road designs, and even save a local shop. We're a team of 12, in three countries and a dozen local governments as customers. In time Civocracy aims to become the leading european civic network of ‘smart cities & citizens’ - a digital space where local governments & businesses not only connect to citizens but to each other, enabling the exchange of urban solutions across borders, fitting to our current environment of constant mobility, and pioneering a local approach to global problems.
