Company Description
Cocrystal (OTCQB:COCP) is a pharmaceutical company.
Cocrystal Pharma, Inc. (OTCBB: COCP) was founded to develop and commercialize novel antiviral drugs targeting replication enzymes. To uniquely position the company for success, an executive team with expertise in scientific discovery and commercial pharmaceutical development was assembled. The team includes Chief Scientific Officer Roger Kornberg, winner of the 2006 Nobel Prize for Chemistry for his work with replication enzymes and Chief Executive Officer Gary Wilcox, former Executive Vice President, Operations and Board Member of ICOS Corporation. Dr. Wilcox played a key leadership role in the development and approval of Cialis, which now has annual sales over $2 billion. CPI uses novel technologies and approaches to create first- and best-in-class antivirals. We believe broad-spectrum antivirals can be developed which will transform both the treatment and prophylaxis of viral diseases.
