Codasip

Codasip is an embedded processor technology for the IoT era, delivering the perfect mix of performance, power, and cost.

Codasip, a founding member of the RISC-V Foundation (riscv.org) and a devoted supporter of open standards, has been the first IP vendor to provide tool for automatically tailored RISC-V processor IP. Codasip’s silicon-proven Studio tool suite enables IoT developers to easily produce RISC-V processors optimized for specific software applications, supporting creation of truly extraordinary devices for the Internet of Things. Codasip began operations as a spinout from the Brno University of Technology in 2006. Initial development was based on the PhD thesis of Codasip’s founder Karel Masarik (CEO/CTO), and in early 2014, our technology was ready for commercial deployment so we formed Codasip, Ltd., and raised the first funding round of $2.8M led by Credo VC with additional investment by the founders of AVAST and AVG Technologies managers.
