Copyscape Premium provides more powerful plagiarism detection than the free service, plus a host of other features, including copy-paste originality checks, batch search, private index, case tracking, and an API. Copysentry provides comprehensive protection for its users’ website by automatically scanning the web daily or weekly and emailing them when new copies of their content are found, and it also offers free plagiarism warning banners for its users’ website to warn potential plagiarists against stealing their content, a free tool to compare two web pages or articles, and a comprehensive guide to dealing with plagiarism. Copyscape is provided by Indigo Stream Technologies, a private company co-founded by Gideon Greenspan, which also provides the Giga Alert and Siteliner services. It was founded in 2003.
