CRD (UK) provides background information services through online disclosure and barring service checks (DBS checks) in Scotland.

GBGroup plc t/a CRD, have been providing background information services for over a decade and were one of the very first users of the DBS Check (formerly CRB) eBulk service. Since then we have gone from strength to strength, working closely with the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly the Criminal Records Bureau) to replace paper form applications. In addition to our fully online DBS check service, CRD have been providing external identity verification checks to other registered bodies ever since the DBS changed the route 2 validation guidelines. Now, in keeping with the demands of ensuring the integrity of potential employees, CRD are proud to announce our new Basic Checks service, the only Disclosure Scotland check provider that keeps the employer in complete control of the application process, significantly reducing the time to hire.
