Cresters is a freelancer marketplace promoting meritocracy and efficiency. On Cresters clients invite freelancers to gigs when their skills closely match those required by the work to be done. Proficiency scores for each skill are determined by the feedback freelancers got from their previous work, taking into account the client's rating habits, time since last feedback, average/median rating, etc. Gig price or hourly rate can also be suggested based on gig complexity and the freelancer's proficiency levels in the relevant skills. This enables to pinpoint relevant freelancers and avoid time loss and hassle due to interviews and bidding contests, and to create a market in which real work and battle tested skills are the sole success criteria.
