DIDX is a telecommunication company that provides its clients with VOIP-enabled phone numbers. It is the first of it's kind marketplace where clec's from around the world can list their numbers and make them available for sale, createing a new revenuw stream for them for their dead stock of telephone numbers. DIDX then takes these numbers and offer it in it's marketplace to be sold to telecom service providers from around the world, who would need these numbers to be used in differnt ways for their web, app and iot services. These numbers are offered over SMS, API, and SIP VOIP services. DIDX's sister Service VirtualPhoneline.com was the first service of it's kind to offer a telephone number over a voip device in year 2000, and won number of awards of this, but due to the founder's ideology of openness, the technology was not patented and remained in public knowledge, and later similar services were offered by vonage, skype, and sipphone.com which was later purchased by google to be made google voice merged with grandcentral.com DIDX was founded by Rehan Allahwala, who did this as hobby starting in 1996 and later wanted a phone number of the united states in his home country of Pakistan, which leaded into creation of this tecnology.
