Established in 2003 by highly skilled Hollywood post production engineers, Digital Ordnance creates solutions that are powerful, highly reliable, and that fit easily in to existing work flows. Digital Ordnance is able to create these products for reasonable prices by leveraging open source software and off the shelf components. The Frame Thrower line of products provides systems for critical image review during post production. They support computer monitors, digital cinemas and broadcast equipment, and current stereoscopic display systems. The ReadyStor line of products brings the post production tool set to the production shoot. These systems can capture up to 12 hours of uncompressed 4:4:4 2k footage. in 2D or stereoscopic. The toolset of the ReadyStor system allows cinematographers to view and analyse their work, to make sure it meets the requirements.
