Since the mid 90s semiconductors manufacturers have been forced to change their go-to market strategy. Effectively, the usage of SoCs (Systems On Chip), integrating more and more functions, became complex and almost impossible without the support of experts. The concept of reference design platforms (hardware and software) started to appear, aiming at simplifying the integration of complex SoCs, with application orientated and easily customisable semi-finished devices. The 'systems and applications' approach developed rapidly amongst semiconductors vendors, with, as a main goal, to design, develop and customise reference designs for customers. A new team profile appeared: multidisciplinary, experienced, reactive but above all, dedicated to customers needs. These are exactly the competencies area and 'know-how' of Eff'Innov Technologies. Thi team was born out of the 'systems and applications' group of NXP Semiconductors leveraging over 90 years of expertise in the domains of connected multimedia and mobility devices The whole team shares strong values: respect to others, tolerance, mutual trust and the sense of engagement.
