Empath Interactive, Inc. (“Empath”) was founded with the aim to revolutionize the way in which we engage, communicate & nurture relationships with our children. Empath has created ELFKINS, an interactive communication platform and device leveraging connectivity & robotics that give kids a new and age appropriate way to engage with the people they love.  Empath was founded by Patrick Chiang, part of the original executive team behind Jawbone.  The company is backed by Sean Parker who serves as an investor and board member.  Empath has also assembled a team of toy industry and child development experts to aid them in their mission including Tom Kalinske (former CEO Mattel, Sega, Leapfrog), Don Kingsborough (Teddy Ruxpin, Lazertag) and Anne Cunningham (Leapfrog, University of California Berkeley).
