enuma, formerly LocoMotive Labs, was founded in July of 2012 by two parents committed to the mission of developing assistive and play-based apps to empower children with special needs to be independent learners. Designing games is not new to us: many team members spent most of their professional lives working on popular massively multiplayer online games. But once they became parents, their professional motivations changed… Inspired by our own children with special needs and the educators and therapists who facilitate their learning, they decided to dedicate their talents to designing accessible games and applications that help all children learn independently.
