Company Description

A seed fund, started by Anu Duggal, that invests in startups with female founders.

Launched in 2013, the Female Founders Fund, or FCubed for short, is a seed fund that invests in startups with female founding members. Based in New York City, the firm aims to promote the growth of female entrepreneurs in tech, a demographic which has been historically under-represented in the industry. Led by founder Anu Duggal, the Female Founders Fund has invested in over 25 companies already, including WayUp, Eloquii, Minibar, and Tala. Currently a micro-VC (a title given to funds with less than $100 million), FCubed has succeeded in establishing partnerships with some of its traditional VC counterparts including RRE Ventures, First Round Capital, Forerunner Ventures, and the Foundry Group to support female-led innovations in the US.
