The company’s target markets are municipalities, industrial plants, schools, seaports and marinas, archaeological sites, resorts, theme parks and racing tracks. Fluidmesh Networks was founded in August 2010 by Andrea Orioli, Umberto Malesci, and Cosimo Malesci and is based in Buffalo Grove, Illinois, the United States. Its founding team include researchers and engineers from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in Cambridge, MA, and the Politecnico of Milan in Italy. The company serves its customers worldwide from its headquarters in Chicago, and from its European office based in Italy.
