In addition to software, the company's Foundstone Professional Services unit offers technical and risk management consulting services. Foundstone Education provides training courses, online and on-site, in security awareness programs. Foundstone was founded in 1999 by George Kurtz, Chris Prosise, Gary Bahadur, and William Chan. As of 2004, it was acquired by McAfee.
