Company Description
Information Productivity Made Easy
Idyle Software produces easy to use information productivity software for consumers. Created in 1996 by Damien Ramé, Idyle Software started out as a part-time venture. Idyle's first product, named Phone Book 97, was an address book software for Windows 95 and later. Phone Book 97 incorporated modern internet data such as email addresses and web sites into the traditional address book and also allowed its users to print several sizes and formats (example: credit-card size booklets). Phone Book 97 quickly became a favorite at ZD-Net and was selected as a finalist for the ZD Shareware Awards at the SIC (Shareware Industry Conference) in 1997. In 1998, Idyle released its second information productivity software: Agenda 98. The sofware gave users an easy way to organize their schedule, get notifications, alarms, keep a journal of their activities. The product was again nominated at the ZD-Net Awards in 1998 and won the best productivity software award. Idyle Software continued producing several titles such as Desks At Will, Internet ToolBox and Tray Minimizer. In 2004, Damien Rame temporary closed the company and moved on other ventures.
