The association organizes regular meetings between creative professionals, innovative technological companies, and research institutions; professional masterclasses and workshops for artists, designers, developers, and more; and public events such as lectures, performances, concerts, exhibitions, and festivals to raise the awareness of a large audience to the creative usage and critical reviews of information technologies. iMAL was founded in 1999 and is based in Brussels, Belgium.
