It is funded by Y Combinator and SV Angel with data science and engineering mentors participating from over a dozen companies including: LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Square, Apple, Airbnb, Microsoft, Netflix, and many others. It was founded in 2012 by Jake Klamka.
