While IPIX survived the dot com bust at the turn of the millennium, the brand and operating assets were eventually acquired by Minds-Eye-View, Inc. (MEV). MEV is a privately held company founded by the original IPIX patent licensor and interactive media inventor, Ford Oxaal.
