Maximizing QoE with Advanced Communication Techniques

As Over-the-Top (OTT) Video-on-Demand (VoD) and live streaming grows and high quality 4K TV and VR are deployed the network requirements increase dramatically. Enhancing data throughput in these challenging scenarios is important for IP networks to maximize the customer experience and differentiate product solutions. Poor performance, due to buffering or pixelation, is one of the key reasons for end users to cancel subscriptions or switch their attention away from content. InterfereX have developed a patent pending data transport solution for maximizing data throughput and connectivity for over-the-top (OTT) video delivery, called CLRifex. The product enables content delivery over parallel paths, thus increasing robustness to congestion, increasing data throughput, and providing instantaneous load balancing. Throughput gains of 2-5 times have been shown in USA deployments where network congestion exists.
