A Brief History AppleShark's buyback service became a big hit, and for their founders, it became clear that the company needed to move into the retail sector. Thus, iTechshark was born, offering a variety of services and products at each location. Immediately, it became clear that there were flaws in the current repair business model. If you wanted to safely purchase a pre-owned Apple product from a local store in St. Louis, you couldn't do it. The customers had a need, and they wanted to be the first to fill it, so in 2012, they acquired a local repair service company.
