Iwane Laboratories, Ltd. was established in the year 1979 with a goal to achieve space recognition like a robot eye and establish digital parallel world. This is to achieve using image processing technology which they have developed over the years and now moving forward to apply the same for automated driving system. They have international patent on PRM (Parts Reconstruction Method) which helps to recognize object even if it’s partial visible and as a result frame all surrounding scene. In addition, they have CV (Camera Vector) technology which compliments PRM and related to space analysis. They are now focusing on development of achieving their goal using above two technologies. By applying PRM on the top or with CV, they not only recognize object in the scene/ sequence of scenes but also object characteristics like quantity, geo location, measurement, state and nature of object, etc.
