Its journals offer information in the areas of basic science, education and training, elbow, ethics, foot and ankle, hand and wrist, hip, infection, knee, oncology, pain management, pediatrics, rehabilitation, shoulder, spine, sports medicine, and trauma for orthopedic surgeons and researchers. It also offers an online course to assist orthopedic surgeons in review for the recertification exam; publishes and sells books and eBooks in the areas of hip, knee, level of evidence, orthopedic registries, periprosthetic joint infection, platelet rich plasma, randomized trials, shoulder, and wrist; offers webinars to the orthopedic community; and operates an orthopedic education center. The Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery was founded in 1953 and is based in Needham, Massachusetts.
