After a notification of the gift is sent, the receiver enters their mailing address along with other personal preferences that are relevant to the gift they will be receiving, whether it's the size, style, or color. Karma allows the recipient to change not only the color, size or style of a gift, but also the gift itself before it is shipped. There's also the option to donate the value of the present to a partner charity. The app also provides notifications on events occurring in the lives of friends in social networks using semantic analysis, algorithms that can detect the meaning behind text, and allows users to send gifts before submitting credit card information.
