Kurt Penberg started Kids Juke box as a small company in California. The thought was to design, develop and execute a business that would permit individuals to sell customized kids products in market. Kurt Penberg started his first cart with a separate English CD and a mere 850 different names. After six months, the product line grew to three different CDs with well over 1500 diverse names. By the end of the third year, Kids Juke Box had a product line that consisted of 13 music CDs, with over 4000 names in three different languages. At the same time a new line of modified and interactive CD story books were launched, and as of today there are six different stories, with over 8000 names in five different languages. Kids Juke Box has also stretched their product line to comprise personalized story book CD, growth charts, poems and soon a new line of adapted ring tones.
