The London City Incubator helps and support the commercialisation of new ideas and technologies from City University London.

The London City Incubator (LCI) supports the commercialisation process by bringing together multidisciplinary teams of City's postgraduate students and matching their skills with real-life projects. The LCI looks for projects in need of commercialisation and support where it can help to identify and address gaps in the business models. For projects closer to market the LCI provides access to networks, relevant mentors, physical space and in some cases help with the recruitment of key missing elements in the management or founder team. The LCI supports the idea-to-market process for some of City's technologies, by training postgraduate students in commercialisation and matching them as LCI Associates with consultancy-driven projects such as pricing strategies, marketing segmentation and value proposition validation.
