MoID detects users’ encounters with other users and allows them to exchange contact information with them.

MoID is an electronic replacement for business cards that detects users’ encounters with other users and allows them to exchange contact information with them. The app automatically keeps track of who users meet; remembers these people; and allows them to connect any time later, if desired by users. MoID shows users pictures of people nearby and allows them to visit their profiles on the major social networks. Users can also connect directly from within the app. Users can drop their ID at the place where they want to be discovered so that other users will then be able to find their ID there, even days later. MoID was launched by Phillip Bellé, Dennis Pagano, and Damir Ismailović in 2011 and is operated from Munich, Germany.
