NETGEV

NetGev is a network of hi-tech hubs located in Hura, Arad and Dimona. We offer shared offices for Israel's Eastern Negev residents.

NETGEV is a network of hi-tech hubs within The Eastern Negev Regional Council that provides practical, technical training in a variety of career fields that enable local residents the ability to work remotely.  The project is a cross-sector partnership between JNF, Tor HaMidbar, The Lauder Employment Center, CISCO, The Ministry for Social Equality, and the municipalities of Hura, Arad and Dimona.  We are striving to lead in the development of innovative employment opportunities and become a national center for online services. In addition, through connecting with our strategic local partners and operating activities for the entire region, we also empower the surrounding communities as a whole.   Uniqueness of NetGev: 1. Promoting employment opportunities for the entire population: Bedouins, ultra-orthodox, women, veteran and new immigrants, and the general public. 2. Geographical distribution: the Negev constitutes about 55% of the territory of Israel. 3. Socio-geographic reach: 95% of the activities take place among populations with low socioeconomic status. 4. Creating a broad ecosystem: cooperation with the high-tech industry, the nonprofit sector, the public sector and online employers
