NGI designs, contract manufacturers and markets LED lighting to the commercial and agricultural industries, and is committed to accelerating our LED adoption by reducing costs to end users while maintaining high quality standards. NGI has achieved a leadership position in the poultry(broiler) industry via its PoultryLED lamp that has been in demonstrations with the University Of Arkansas for over 2 years. NGI authored the American Poultry House Energy Efficient Lighting - LED Conversion Project plan submitted to the Arkansas Energy Office and ultimately funded by ARRA for 1.6M. This leadership position is providing further opportunities in the poultry industry as well as the swine & dairy markets. Brand recognition has given NGI additional penetration in AG/food facilities with targeted LED solutions. Our work in this field has brought significant support interest by component suppliers that want to gain entry into this market - we are currently in discussions regarding “support” with one of the LED industry’s leading chip suppliers. NGI was also awarded a $337,500 grant from the Arkansas Energy Office in 11/2010 for a LED demonstration project that we are currently administering.
