Next Generation Systems ''builds shapes that shape minds''. Every day in the United States almost 50 million students attend English classes. However a major problem persists: studies show that children are not acquiring important communication skills. New tools are needed - at Next Generation Systems we believe WordParts can be one of those tools. WordParts is a product that helps children learn to communicate and collaborate effectively. Designed to model the common “I do, We do, You do” teaching model WordParts provides physical (kits) and software (Tablet Apps) products that teachers and parents can use to teach children parts of speech, sentence structure, and writing techniques. The cornerstone of our solution is the use of 3-D shapes to represent parts of speech. The tactile nature of using 3D shapes improves students’ cognitive skills. As students naturally begin to use both sides of their brain in learning activities they have better recall and retention of learned information - learning leads to improvement – improvement leads to better test scores and lower dropout rates.
