The mission of Numericcal, Inc. is the democratization and dissemination of Deep Neural Network technology. We do this by providing developer friendly tools for optimization, deployment, and management of DNN models on the Edge. Deep Learning has become the state of the art method for processing of unstructured data, and we’re already seeing valuable applications in computer vision, image recognition, and natural language processing. However, many compelling technologies such as augmented/virtual reality, autonomous drones and vehicles, personal robotics, and IoT are promising but not yet feasible in the mainstream. The Cloud is unable to solve for the quality, speed, and connectivity that is necessary for these (and other unforeseen) applications to flourish. To reach its full potential Deep Learning must be liberated from the confines of the Cloud and the dependency on highly-trained, scarce talent that only big Internet companies can afford. At Numericcal we solve this problem by helping mobile developers: - Lower the cost of operating a DNN-powered product; - Increase the quality of their DNN-based products; - Reach a wider audience by handling hardware specific tuning to optimize and deploy across all devices.
