The OECD Better Life Index allows people to compare well-being across countries.

The OECD Better Life Index allows people to compare well-being across countries, based on topics considered essential in the areas of material living conditions and quality of life. It follows the dimensions set by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), an international organization helping governments tackle the economic, social, and governance challenges of a globalized economy. The index is based on 11 dimensions: housing, income, jobs, community, education, environment, governance, health, life satisfaction, safety, and work and life balance. The OECD Better Life Index was launched in May 2011 and its operations are based in Paris, France.
