Paying for Care (payingforcare.co.uk) is an advice website launched in 2011 designed to help individuals make more informed decisions about the arrangements and funding for their long term care. The site is equally useful for Powers of Attorney and family members and friends. The site has been created by Partnership Life Assurance Company Limited, market leaders in the design and manufacture of financial products for retirement and long term care. Partnership is recognised in the industry as an expert in long term care funding and won the ‘Best Long Term Care Provider’ award at 2010’s Health Insurance awards. The site endeavours to give balanced, up-to-date advice on the complex subject of long term care, specifically care payment, through careful, continuous research and collaboration with independent care experts and respected support organisations. Partnership provides financial products directly as well as via suitably qualified independent financial advisers, particularly advisers affiliated with SOLLA, the Society of Later Life Advisers.
