PayMyTrustee was founded in 2010 by two bankruptcy attorneys and one computer engineer. Their goal: make it easier for Chapter 13 bankruptcy debtors to pay their trustees. Drawing upon their years of experience, they set out to create PayMyTrustee, Trustee Payments Made Simple, and they launched on May 1, 2012. PayMyTrustee allows debtors across the nation to make trustee payments remotely and automatically. This allows debtors to maintain better control over their trustee payments, and helps them come closer to their goal: a bankruptcy discharge and a 'fresh start'. PayMyTrustee's trusted vendors handle all of the transferring, printing, and mailing of their customers' funds and physical payments. These vendors, PrintMail Systems, Inc. and Klik Technologies, Corp., ensure bank level security and privacy of their customers' payments.
