PEAT (Progressive Environmental & Agricultural Technologies) is a deep learning AgTech Startup. We have a team of engineers, scientists, data experts and entrepreneurs, who work on two major issues: 1. Knowledge transfer to enable farmers to apply best agricultural practices regarding plant protection and 2. Image processing and recognition, in order to automatize diagnosis for plant pests, diseases and nutrient deficiencies. Every plant disease, pest or nutrient deficiency leaves a specific pattern. PEAT has built a state of art free mobile application for farmers - Plantix -, which allows users to identify pests, diseases and nutrient deficiencies by using a mobile phone camera. Our software quickly learns to detect these patterns with an estimation accuracy up to 95% Working with artificial intelligence and image recognition we help farmers worldwide to protect their plants.
