Penflip is an online platform that enables users to host, collaborate, and publish writing projects such as textbooks, ebooks, novels, research papers, and technical documentation. It adapts Github technology and workflows and simplifies them for non-developers, resulting in a version control system that maintains ease-of-use. Content is written with markdown, then formatted and compiled into consumable formats (PDF, ePub, and Word). Penflip was founded by Loren Burton in August 2013.
