Instead of doing the part of the job he loved, Cameron discovered he was spending increasing amounts of unprofitable time figuring out the best place to buy the plants he needed. He wondered...instead of staring at dozens of growers' availabilities, pouring over spreadsheets, making phone calls and waiting for callbacks, couldn’t we use technology to do it faster? Cameron got together with Dave Wooden, our Co-Founder and tech genius, to make Plantbid a reality. Networking plant professionals, growers and nurseries together to help everyone succeed is what Plantbid is all about. Plantbid is the amalgamation of the approach, preferences and tricks of the trade that Cameron and other horticultural professionals use every day molded into one powerful sourcing tool.
