Company Description

Project Canvas is a visual tool that simplifies and frames the communication in project teams while giving an overview of the whole project.

Project Canvas is a visual tool that simplifies and frames the communication in project teams while giving an overview of the whole project. The tool is built up by 12 project terms, which collectively gives a complete project overview. It is used by project teams to simplify project communication and align project members, both internally and externally. Project Canvas has originally been developed as an analogue tool and now is also offered as an app. The tool allows managers to avoid communication challenges in projects and makes sure that the expectations of stakeholders are commonly understood and met. By filling out Project Canvas together with the project team and other stakeholders, managers ensure everyone’s understanding and involvement in their projects. Project Canvas has been used as a pre-project tool, to specify the what, why, and how of a project; as a briefing tool, to communicate a specific project to team members and stakeholders; and as a sales tool, to sell or convince members on a specific project. Founded in 2013 by Simon Stubben and Thomas Olesen, Project Canvas is based in Copenhagen, Hovedstaden.
