Their solutions are fully scalable, and have been proven to both add value (by generating alpha and identifying distress situations earlier than the market) and offer early warning signals (we have been shown to lead S&P and Moody’s ratings changes by years, and their ratings are typically predictive of future changes in share price, credit default swaps and bond spreads). We generate revenue from subscribers (the “user pay” model), not from the companies we rate, eliminating the conflicts of interest inherent in traditional rating agencies.
